The chronograph measures in 1/5-second increments, records up to 60 minutes per cycle, and can continue timing for up to 12 hours. Standard, accumulated elapsed-time, and split-time measurements are supported.

A battery-depletion warning causes the small seconds hand to move at two-second intervals when the battery is nearing the end of its service life.
