The TS920E stores electrical energy generated by the watch’s solar panel and supplies power to the movement when light is unavailable. It is a rechargeable secondary cell—not a disposable silver-oxide watch battery.

Seiko movements use different rechargeable cells, contact plates, terminal tabs, and part numbers. Please confirm the movement calibre, original battery code, Seiko part number, terminal orientation, and connector shape before ordering. A bare TS920E cell may not directly replace an assembly fitted with model-specific connector plates.

Do not substitute a disposable alkaline or silver-oxide battery. The movement’s charging circuit is designed for a compatible rechargeable cell and may damage an unsuitable battery or the watch.

Professional installation, system resetting, and sufficient initial light charging may be required after replacement.
